At N of 1 we design organizations.

In medicine an N of 1 experiment is the study and specialized treatment of a single unique human case.

In haute couture N of 1 is a one-of-a-kind piece designed for one client, rigorously hand-made, suited for a specific purpose.

At N of 1 we design for 1, which is you.

I formed N of 1 to create a world of extraordinary organizations.

Yes: extra-ordinary.

Not ho-hum.
Not ossified and bureaucratic.
Not stale and stalled out.

But growing, thriving, ever-evolving, high-performing, beautiful companies.

In the marketplace, products live or die based on whether they enrich the human experience.

We expect sweet sounds from a Telecaster guitar, elegance from an iPhone, a chance at love from Bumble.

Great products help us get things done. They might even delight us.

To the extent that organizations and institutions are consciously designed… they do not delight us.

Because they are never - not even close - designed with the intelligence and creativity that we use to build world-class products.

They should be.

N of 1 designs businesses. We build stuff. We alter the status quo for our clients. And we do it with charisma and care.

Which is why companies like Johnson & Johnson, Google, PayPal, Ogilvy, Ebay, YouTube, United Talent Agency, Media Link, Harvard, and PBS like me and my teams so much.
